Salty Sweet Combo

July 6th, 2009 by Big Phony

I’m eating yogurt covered raisins from Trader Joe’s and these seafood flavor Japanese crackers my mom bought me as I write this.  Good salty-sweet combo.

Had a nice relaxing 4th of July weekend.  Spent quality time with friends, bbq’d, birthday partied, karaoke’d, went to church.  I attempted to sing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and someone hit the “cancel” button on the karaoke remote.  Haha.

Got the new Big Phony album back all mastered this weekend too.  I’m not too familiar with all that stuff but it sounds good to me.  Just have to figure out now what to do with it.  If anyone has any clue or ideas on what I can do to get some new music out there effectively please do share.  I need all the help I can get.  I’m sure I will screw it up.

Next week I leave for New York City.  Haven’t been back since Feb/March?  Looking forward to pizza, cab rides, bagels, and White Castle.  I know it’ll be hot and humid out there.  I don’t really wear shorts so I might be screwed.  Also looking forward to seeing friends, family, and everyone coming out to see that Big Phony loser play at the Living Room.  It’s been a while.

Tonight I’m going to watch Sullivan’s Travels on dvd with friends.  Have a great week everyone.
